Mikaru’s solo project started in the winter of 2013, with the wish to give a ‘glamour touch’ (glam) “haute couture” to his work. Since the very start this project has been very important to him as it reflects a lot of him as a person and his work, since he is also a painter and jeweler.
You might know him from Dio ~Distraught Overlord~ or BLACK LINE, which both have performed in Europe and The Netherlands before. This time he will be accompanied by Tetsuto (bass), Syu (DJ) and Yuda (guitar) under the name of G.L.A.M.S from July 2 to July 19, 2015.
For The Netherlands G.L.A.M.S will perform at the Fan Base Project convention in Rijswijk, held on July 11 in ‘De Broodfabriek’. The convention will be organized by Stichting Cultuur en Projecten (mostly known for We Love Japan, KPOP FOREVER! and ¡Típcamente!) and is all about comics, games, anime, sci-fi and more.
There will be a ‘How Can I Become A Superhero’-workshop, a Game Corner, but also a fashion show and several contests and gaming activities.
Next to G.L.A.M.S, other guests will be cosplayers The Partyvengers from The Netherlands, Greenius from Germany and the Spanish gamer Kinumi Cati (who became known for her successful record attempts in World of Warcraft and Final Fantasy X).
Basically: there is something for everyone!
Fan Base Project will start at 12:00 at De Broodfabriek in Rijswijk. Tickets are available online for €13,- (excluding service fees) and at the door for €20,-.
